Furniture Designer and Project Manager:
We are looking for a furniture designer with project management skills and experience. We are a growing company working for private and trade customers and our projects range from bespoke individual pieces of furniture to cabinet work for commercial retail premises. The position is mainly dealing with cabinet making projects but we also have upholstery and antique restoration departments.

We require someone with the following skills; fully competent in CAD, including converting architect’s drawings to fully specified working drawings, ability to cost and to manage projects, ability to liaise with customers and suppliers, ability to liaise with the workshop to ensure that projects meet deadlines, budget and quality requirements. You will need to be able to design new ranges of furniture as well as interpret customer’s requirements for bespoke pieces. The ability to maintain and update our website would be advantageous but not essential.

This is a fulltime permanent position working 40 hours per week and we offer flexible working hours. The salary will depend on experience.
